Other design considerations included checking design capacities of existing structure which would attract additional loading from the new platform. The steel framed platform structure was designed to comply with A.D.M standards and specifications and the relevant Australian standards including AS 1657.
Careful consideration was given to the installation methodology due to constraints associated with available crane lifting capacities and existing plant and structure within the proposed work area.
