Senior Structural Engineer  – Bunbury
Full Time/ Permanent

We require a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bunbury Branch. This position will manage the technical aspects and resources of Structural Jobs within the Bunbury Office. Undertake designs and supervise  the design process of various structural jobs.

Our successful applicant will need:

– A Bachelor of Civil Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent level of skill, knowledge and experience.

– Minimum of 10 years’ engineering experience (Graduate + 10 years and greater).

– Comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience in at least two of the following structural engineering fields:

> design of domestic, commercial and office buildings;

> design of industrial and mining structures;

> design of modifications, reinforcement or repair of existing structures;

> design of civil/drainage structures, bridges or coastal structures;

> contract administration of structural engineering projects.

– Knowledge of policies and practices relating to Occupational Safety and Health on construction projects is preferred but not essential.

Structural Drafter – Bunbury
Full Time/ Permanent

We require a Structural Drafter to join our Bunbury Branch. This position will design and prepare drawings for various structural, civil, road and drainage jobs generally using AutoCAD. Revit experience is advantageous. Our successful applicant will need:

– A Diploma of Civil Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent level of skill, knowledge and experience.

– Minimum of 5 years’ drafting experience in road,structural and drainage design.

– Comprehensive skill, knowledge and experience in:

> one or more of civil road, structural and drainage design;

> Proficient skills in AutoCAD;

> Experience with Revit preferable;

Senior Geotechnical Engineer – Bunbury
Full Time/ Permanent

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a role within a well-established reputable engineering consultancy based in Bunbury WA. We are looking for a competent Engineer with geotechnical analysis, investigations, testing and design experience across a broad scope of work including: mining infrastructure, waste disposal, roads, bridges and buildings.

This role will have a strong focus on mining infrastructure,  tailings dams and bridge foundations and we are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated design and investigation expertise and relevant local (Western Australia) experience in these areas.

Reporting to the Group Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing geotechnical teams, and project work. This will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders, preparation of proposals, organising and managing field work, supervising, reviewing of work and reporting and documentation. The role includes maintaining and developing the company’s client base to acquire new business and undertake business development activities in the Bunbury Office.

Essential Requirements:

– Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology

– 10+ years relevant professional experience in the field of engineering geology associated with infrastructure projects

– Post Grad, Masters or PhD in a relevant Geotechnical field (Highly Desirable)

– Chartered Status or be working towards (Highly Desirable)

– Expertise in mining tailing dam and infrastructure design and investigations

– Investigation and design for roads, pipelines, buildings, housing, port and infrastructure

– Bridge foundation investigation and design<

– Knowledge of Main Roads Standards and experience on Main Roads projects (highly desirable)<

– Experience in managing teams of engineers

– Business development skills

– Ability to operate independently

– Strong analysis and reporting skills

– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

This is a residential role and you must reside in or be willing to locate to Bunbury Western Australia.

This position will undertake the design of various structural engineering projects within the Kalgoorlie office and assist in the development of the structural discipline in the Goldfields Region. The project range includes industrial, commercial and domestic buildings, mine structures, bridges and drainage structures.
