Big Swamp Boardwalks and Shade Structures
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Geotechnical investigation and design of boardwalk footings and shade structures. The boardwalk length amounted to 400m. The areas are environmentally sensitive and required careful design to reduce environmental risk and impact.
WML specifically designed displacement piles for the boardwalks and the shade structures for the potential for acid sulphate soils and the potential for contamination should the soil be excavated.
