Material Location
To locate the most suitable naturally occurring pavement materials that are available requires an initial ‘pilot hole’ inspection of available sites by experiences staff to select likely deposits for quality and quantity before commencing large scale test pit investigation
Laboratory Evaluations
Pavement material deficiencies identified at the laboratory testing stage are addressed by mechanical or chemical stabilisation solutions that can be easily measured and implemented by the contractor.
Pavement Trial
Where required to minimise project risk, WML manages pavement mixing trials to measure the effectiveness of the stabilisation process and the stabilised material quality in the finished pavement.
